
Mariaelena Orozco and her Grandfather Trino
Ms. Mariaelena Orozco, local El Mirage resident, mother of one, a beautiful daughter, Danna Izabella, has reached some of the goals of her life by opening La Cosina Michoacana Mexican Food Restaurant thereby fulfilling hers and many of the dreams of her Grandfather, whom has been her mentor throughout life. He came to the United States as a young man and worked hard and diligently in the fields of the area, and among various other vocations, always dreaming of something better for himself and his family.
Mariaelena moved from El Alcalde, Apatzingan Michoacan, Mexico, along with her parents at the age of 14, where she has worked extremely hard, the same as her Grandfather.
She attended and graduated from the Dysart High School in 2000, the first of her family to do so, while holding down one or more jobs at the same time. Her first job in the United States was that of a dishwasher, by hand at the age of 14. She then went to work in the fields for a while before working at several fast food chain restaurants, until her last employment where she started as a waitress, advancing to cashier and then as cashier and Second Shift Manager at a Mexican Food Restaurant, where she has worked for more than eight years until resigning to open La Cocina Michoacana..
As in high school, in spite of her work schedule and spending quality time with Danna, she is continuing her education by attending Estrella Mountain Collage part time, where she has 38 credits toward a degree in Business Management.

La Cocina Michoacána hasido una meta, alcanzando así uno de los sueños para su abuelo Trino, quien inmigro desde El Alcalde Mich, México a una temprana edad. El ha sido para Mariaelena su gran mentor y ejemplo de lucha y dedicación, su abuelo después de inmigrar trabajo arduamente en varios campos de Arizona, con el propósito siempre de dar a su familia una Vida mejor. Mariaelena siguiendo los pasos de su abuelo también inmigro junto a sus padres a la edad de 14 anos. Desde entonces ha trabajado también arduamente en varios oficios comenzando como lavaplatos, posteriormente también en los campos cortando uvas, y finalmente como cajera y encargada en un restaurante Mexicano desde hace 8 años hasta la fecha actual. Teniendo siempre el enfoque de comenzar su propia empresa restaurantera, y sin dejar a un lado sus estudios, logro graduarse de la escuela preparatoria en el año 2000, siendo la primera en graduarse y comenzar otro Nuevo camino al iniciar su educación como administradora de empresas en el colegió estrella mountain, donde ha logrado obtener Varios créditos que le darán la oportunidad de iniciar su carrera Universitaria.
